100X.VC invests $2.7M in 17 startups from its 11th cohort

June 2, 2024: Early-stage investor 100X.VC announced today a $2.7 million investment in 17 startups from its 11th cohort. These young companies, hailing from major Indian cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Pune, represent diverse sectors including B2B SaaS, APIs, healthtech, climate-tech, food & beverage, and even pet-tech.

The company’s founder and partner Ninad Karpe said Rs 1.25 crore was invested in each startup and mentorship was provided to the founding teams to help them improve their product and go-to-marketing strategies.

“With this latest round of investments, our portfolio now boasts 161 early-stage startups,” said Ninad Karpe, Founder and Partner at 100X.VC. “This cohort is particularly exciting, showcasing the breadth of innovation across various industries.”

The selection process was rigorous, with the venture firm meticulously choosing 17 companies from a pool of over 1,500 applicants. This involved shortlisting 307 startups before making the final decision.

The announcement comes on the heels of a successful VC Pitch Day, which attracted over 400 investors eager to discover the next generation of Indian startups.

100X.VC is a SEBI-registered ‘CAT I Alternate Investment Fund’ backed by Mehta Ventures, the family office investment arm of Sanjay Mehta.
