August 1, 2025: Metaforms, a startup focused on automating key processes for consumer marketing firms using AI agents, has secured $9 million in a Series A funding round to expand AI Automation for Market Research Agencies.
The round was led by Peak XV Partners, with Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund also participating. Founded in 2022 by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, the AI Startup aims to streamline market research workflows to help agencies meet rising client demands efficiently.
The startup’s AI-driven platform automates tasks like survey programming, data processing, and vendor coordination, areas that traditionally require extensive manual effort. Since launching its product six months ago, the AI Startup has onboarded four market research agencies and now processes over 1,000 surveys monthly.
Series A Funding Fuels Metaforms’ AI Platform for Faster Marketing Surveys
The funding will mainly support hiring specialized talent focused on enhancing the platform’s capabilities, including automated report generation and voice-based research.
The market research industry faces increasing pressure for faster turnaround times, competitive pricing, and a wider range of service offerings. Many agencies still rely on manual systems, which limits their ability to scale and meet client expectations. The AI startup addresses this gap by offering AI agents that handle repetitive and complex tasks, enabling agencies to take on more projects without expanding their workforce proportionally.
Peak XV Partners’ Managing Director Shailendra Singh noted that Metaforms is growing quickly by helping large research firms automate workflows and increase productivity. Nexus Venture Partners’ Managing Director Jishnu Bhattacharjee highlighted the startup’s strong customer focus and effective use of generative AI as key factors in its early success.
Looking ahead, Metaforms plans to expand the functionality of its AI agents with features such as enhanced voice research, broader language support, and more advanced automated reporting. The company targets processing over 100,000 surveys annually, aiming to become a critical tool for market research agencies worldwide.
