December 6, 2024: Nodwin Gaming, an emerging markets focussed player catering to the new-age youth entertainment, gaming, and esports segment, received approval of Rs 64 crore funding from parent company Nazara Technologies.
The fresh capital infusion will fast track NODWIN Gaming’s current expansion plans, aimed on strengthening its capabilities, scaling its portfolio of intellectual properties (IPs), and consolidating its presence in emerging markets, the company said in a statement.
NODWIN Gaming, founded in 2015, is a leading player within the global entertainment sector, specializing in youth culture, esports, and gaming, particularly in emerging markets. With a global footprint spanning over 20 locations and overseeing 15+ companies, it is actively expanding its digital entertainment offerings worldwide.
The company develops and monetizes intellectual property centered on youth who embrace the cultural elements of gaming, esports, music, anime, comics, and comedy.
NODWIN Board has approved plans to kick start a private financing round to propel the company’s goal to become a major player in the category. “As the first investor backing this investment, NAZARA and NODWIN boards have both ratified this investment that is in the form of convertible preferred stock,” the company said.

The company said that prior to this investment, the Gurugram-based company was valued at $410 million as of November this year.
NODWIN has recently expanded its portfolio with strategic acquisitions including Freaks 4U Gaming, a German esports and gaming marketing agency; events company Comic Con, Ninja Global a Turkish esports and gaming company; Singapore-based live events firm Branded; and Publishme, a West Asia and Turkey-focused marketing agency.
Most recently, the Nazara subsidiary announced acquistion of Trinity Gaming for Rs 24 crore, rendering it a fully owned subsidiary of NODWIN .
