B Capital Closes $2.1Bn Funds With Focus on US, Asia, and its Impact

Global venture capital firm B Capital announced the close of its third growth-stage fund, Growth Fund III, with a $2.1 billion corpus. With this new corpus, the fund will invest in startups worldwide, particularly in the US and Asia. The firm’s strategic partnership with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and its strong on-the-ground presence in key geographies will enable it to provide its portfolio companies with targeted insights and expert advice.

Growth Fund III is the latest milestone for the Venture Firm as it positions itself to leverage its growth investing capabilities across the globe.

The fund includes companion funds that will be used to invest in startups worldwide, particularly in the US and Asia. This is B Capital’s third growth-stage fund, following the closure of its first dedicated early-stage fund, Ascent Fund II, in July 2019 with a corpus of $250 million.
