The AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls is designed to support and motivate girls in pursuing technical education in India. Eligible candidates should be admitted to the 1st year of a Degree or Diploma program in any AICTE approved institute through the centralized admission process of the State/Centre Government. The scholarship covers tuition fee up to Rs. 30,000/- or actual, whichever is less, and provides an incidental amount of Rs. 2,000/- per month for 10 months annually.

  1. Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship

The Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship, previously known as Maulana Azad National Scholarship, targets meritorious girl students from Minority Communities. Eligible candidates should have a minimum 50% marks in the previous qualifying exam and an annual income not exceeding Rs. 2.00 lakh. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per month for Class IX & X and Rs. 6,000/- per month for Class XI & XII.

  1. Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child

This scholarship aims to assist single girl children pursuing non-professional post-graduate education. Eligible candidates should be single girl children who have taken admission in regular, full-time 1st-year Master’s Degree courses in recognized universities or post-graduate colleges. The scholarship amount is Rs. 2,000/- per month for a two-year period during the full duration of the post-graduate course.

  1. CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child

The CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child acknowledges parents’ efforts in promoting education for girls and provides encouragement to meritorious students. Eligible candidates should be single girl students with 60% or more marks in CBSE Class X, studying in Class XI & XII in CBSE-affiliated schools with tuition fees not exceeding Rs. 1,500/- p.m. The scholarship amount is Rs. 500/- per month for a maximum period of two years.

  1. Women Scientist Scheme-B (WOS-B)

The Women Scientist Scheme-B addresses challenges faced by women with a break in their S&T careers, offering opportunities for their return. Eligible candidates should be women aged 27-57 with qualifications in S&T areas and not permanent employees. The scholarship amount is Rs. 55,000/- per month for Ph.D. or equivalent, Rs. 40,000/- per month for M.Phil./MTech or equivalent, and Rs. 31,000/- per month for M.Sc. or equivalent.
