Hyderabad, India, November 3, 2025: Fabex Steel Structures has officially commissioned its second manufacturing facility in Chityal, Telangana, reinforcing its expansion strategy in India’s structural steel sector. The ₹120 crore investment spans 40 acres and adds 50,000 MT of annual production capacity, doubling Fabex’s total output to 100,000 MT across its two plants.
The new unit will focus on pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) for industrial use, including factories, warehouses, and logistics infrastructure. The PEB and Steel Structure firm also operates a high-capacity plant in Vijayawada, catering to both domestic and international demand.
Fabex Steel Targets ₹1,000 Cr Revenue with New Chityal Plant
“We are aligning our capital deployment with market momentum across our product lines,” said Venu Chava, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Fabex. “The ₹100 crore follow-on investment over the next 24–36 months will focus on automation, throughput enhancement, and product diversification.”
Co-Founder and CEO I V Ramana Raju added, “With a combined annual capacity of 100,000 MT, we now have the scale to support multi-site PEB rollouts and turnkey design-to-installation projects across India and overseas.”
Fabex currently employs 400 people and plans to double its workforce to 800 as operations scale. The company reported a turnover of ₹463 crore and is targeting ₹1,000 crore in revenue over the next three years, supported by 70% client retention and growing global demand.
Exports span North America, Africa, and the Middle East, with the steel manufacturing firm actively exploring new geographies to expand its footprint.
The Chityal unit was inaugurated on Sunday in the presence of Sri Vemula Veeresham (MLA Nakerekal), Sri Vasantha Krishna Prasad (MLA Mylavaram), and Sri Sriram Rajagopal (MLA Jaggayyapeta), along with industry stakeholders and dignitaries.
