Fitness major GOQii, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is set to launch the highly anticipated ‘Fit India Champions’ podcast series under the flagship Fit India Mission.
Scheduled to commence on January 27, this innovative podcast series aims to bring to light the extraordinary achievements and inspiring narratives of India’s sporting heroes. My inner mantra is ‘koshish karne walon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti’ (those who try never lose), and this helps me win matches.”
Following this remarkable start, the podcast will feature world and Olympic javelin champion Neeraj Chopra, who shares insights into his professional journey and emphasizes the importance of a healthy lifestyle for peak mental performance. Chopra’s episode is scheduled for release on February 10.

Highlighting the significance of fitness, Neeraj Chopra remarked, “The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has given the clarion call of ‘Fitness ki dose, aadha ghanta roz’ (a dose of fitness, half an hour every day), but you can go beyond the training time of 30 minutes a day. It depends on the needs of your body and needs to be done with proper balance, not overworking your body.”
Hosted by Ms. Ekta Vishnoi, the Deputy Director General of the Sports Authority of India and Mission Director of Fit India, the 10-part series promises intimate and insightful conversations. The episodes will be available on various digital and social media platforms, including YouTube, with releases scheduled for every second and fourth Saturday.
