Startup HYLENR Patents World’s First Cold Fusion Technology

17 July 2024, Hyderabad, India: Hyderabad based Startup HYLENR’s has demonstrated world’s first and a ground breaking cold fusion technology to generate Clean Energy. This innovation has received a patent from the Government of India for its Low Energy Nuclear Reactor Technology.

HYLENR’s Low Energy Nuclear Reactor is a promising alternative for power generation, by amplifying input electricity to produce heat for Space Application (MMRTG), Steam generation for multiple applications, Room Heating across cold regions globally, Induction heating for Domestic and Industrial requirements. Also, HYLENR devices can drastically decrease the risk profile for space missions.

In a live demonstration during the launch of the product to the media today in Hyderabad, HYLENR’s product successfully achieved a consistent 1.5x heat amplification (150 watts equivalent heat) from 100W electrical input. This impressive heat amplification ratio has been the product’s defining feature during its long development process. Mr. Mahankali Srinivas Rao, CEO of T-HUB formally launched the product alongside the leadership team of HYLENR.

HYLENR’s reactors utilise Low Energy Nuclear Reactors (LENR known as “cold fusion”) by applying milligrams of hydrogen and small volume of electricity to stimulate and generate excess heat through fusion. HYLENR’s Low Energy Nuclear Reactors can produce significantly more heat than the input energy, making it a game-changing technology for power generation.

Explaining the details and demonstrating the technology in a live event at T-HUB, Siddhartha Durairajan, Chief Executive Officer, HYLENR said “The patent for the product validates the inventiveness of the technology, and the viability of integrating LENR with existing power generation systems to enhance efficiency and reduce reliance on traditional energy sources. The proposed approach by LENR leverages LENR to amplify electricity from renewable and non-renewable sources, Space Application, ultimately aiming for a 2.5 times power output increase.”

We are committed to helping businesses improve their energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint. Our mission is to provide innovative energy enhancement solutions that save money for our clients and protect the environment.  The LENR device does not use or emit any nuclear waste and no radioactive material is used.”  Durairajan added.

Talking about the uniqueness of HYLENR’s, a successful cold fusion promising us a sustainable supply of clean, easily attainable energy Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada Ramarao, Former Distinguished Scientist DRDO and currently the Chief Innovation Officer, HYLENR, said “LENR reactors utilize low-energy nuclear reactions to generate excess heat. By applying a small volume of electricity to stimulate these reactions, LENR can produce significantly more heat than the input energy, making it a potentially game-changing technology for power generation.”

“The Team has invested the last 10 years into developing the patented technology and we plan to further invest and raise funds to commercialise the product in an accelerated mode. The advanced research and development facility of HYLENR is located at T-HUB, Hyderabad. One more development centre is located in electronic city in Bengaluru.” Durairajan stated.

We intend to reach out to the global market for our LENR application ranging from outer Space to Domestic space and will be forging partnerships for GTM outside India, Said, Ram Ramaseshan, Board Member, HYLENR, Ram is based in Detroit handling the Overall strategy, and Global relations for HYLENR.

Our goal is to further scale up LENR units for field testing and demonstration projects, partner with research institutions and labs for advanced analysis, applications and optimization. Additionally, collaborate with regulatory bodies to establish safety standards and approval processes to ensure successful deployment and commercialization of LENR technology (the art of making atomic nuclei merge and, ideally, harnessing the resultant additional energy).” Dr Shree Varaprasad, Chief Scientific Officer HYLENR, added.

Early applications of LENR are in Direct Heat Consumers, Space Application, Renewable Energy, Clean Mobility, Calamity Energy Solution. Its advantages are to offer clean, efficient heating alternatives to fossil fuels and to reduce CO2 emissions.

Based on the potential applications and theoretical benefits of LENRs, some analysts and organizations have attempted to estimate their future market size:

Precedence Research: Estimates the global Small Modular Reactor (SMR) market (which could potentially include LENRs) is pegged at USD 8.06 billion.

The startup is also seeking strategic investments of USD 10 Million to further accelerate productization, scaling of efficiency, research and development, and business development.
