Kerala Welcomes RCC Nutrafill’s ₹100Cr Food Processing Facility

Angamaly, Kerala | September 15, 2025: In a major leap towards industrial innovation, RCC Nutrafill has officially begun construction on its ₹100 crore Food Processing and Life Sciences Manufacturing Facility at the KSIDC Business Park in Angamaly, Kerala. The much-anticipated project, which will cater to food processing, marine, spices, agriculture, and medical products.

The facility was launched with the Bhoomi Pooja and foundation stone-laying ceremony led by Shri. P. Rajeev, the Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Law, and Coir, Government of Kerala.

This marks the beginning of a transformative chapter for the region, with the food processing and life sciences firm aiming to create a cutting-edge manufacturing hub spread across 5 acres. The project, which is expected to be completed in multiple phases, will create hundreds of jobs and drive significant growth in Kerala’s industrial landscape.

The facility, designed to be one of a kind in India, will integrate several key sectors under one roof: cold storage, warehousing, research and development, logistics, and the handling of Life Sciences and FMCG products. Upon completion of Phase 1 in the next 24 months, the facility will bring together best-in-class technology, automation, and sustainability practices.

Shri. P. Rajeev spoke of the significance of the project, stating, “This facility is more than just a manufacturing plant; it is a symbol of Kerala’s commitment to industrial growth driven by innovation. We are thrilled to see RCC Nutrafill choose Angamaly for this visionary project, and the Government of Kerala is committed to providing unwavering support to ensure its success.”

Once operational, the facility will not only serve the food and life sciences sectors but also contribute significantly to Kerala’s economy by offering high-tech processing services using USDA-accredited technology. This will ensure product safety, shelf-life extension, and adherence to global industry standards.

A key highlight of the RCC Nutrafill project is its commitment to creating employment opportunities for the local community. With an investment of ₹100 crore, the facility is set to generate 500 direct and indirect jobs across two phases, contributing significantly to both skill development and regional growth.
