November 6, 2026: Daksham Capital has raised Rs 125 crore in the first close of its maiden Daksham Growth Ventures (DGV) Fund I, as the wealth management group looks to expand its investments in early-stage startups across consumer-focused sectors.
The fund has a target corpus of Rs 300 crore, comprising a base corpus of Rs 150 crore and a greenshoe option of an additional Rs 150 crore. The first close was backed by family offices, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) and entrepreneurs, the company said in a statement.
DGV Fund I will invest in startups at the pre-Series A and Series A stages, with investments ranging from Rs 5 crore to Rs 20 crore. Its focus areas include direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, consumer enablers, B2B2C businesses, supply chains and consumer-focused artificial intelligence (AI).
The fund plans to back businesses with annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 25-75 crore, particularly those with the potential to scale their annual revenue to Rs 300-500 crore.
Daksham said it will look beyond funding and work with its portfolio companies on governance, financial reporting, brand positioning, leadership development and expanding distribution networks.
