Hyderabad, June 15: Ameenpur, on the rapidly expanding western edge of Hyderabad, is poised to emerge as a significant centre for artificial intelligence, healthcare technology and digital services, with Pulsus Group reaffirming plans to create 6,000 direct jobs and support nearly 30,000 indirect employment opportunities through its proposed AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub.
The project, spread across 35 acres and backed by an investment of ₹500 crore, represents more than a large-scale employment initiative. Industry observers believe it could help strengthen Telangana’s position in high-value sectors such as healthcare innovation, life sciences, artificial intelligence and Global Capability Centres (GCCs), areas where the state has already built considerable momentum.
Located near the Miyapur growth corridor, the campus is expected to attract a mix of technology professionals, researchers, healthcare specialists and digital services talent, creating a new knowledge-driven employment ecosystem in the region.
Pulsus Group in a statement said the project will focus on artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, digital health services, research support and technology-enabled healthcare solutions, segments that are witnessing growing demand globally as healthcare systems increasingly adopt data-driven decision-making and digital infrastructure.

The company is also building on an established employment track record. Parliamentary records under the India BPO Promotion Scheme show that Omics International, part of the Pulsus Group, generated 2,836 direct jobs by March 2022 and achieved its employment targets in Visakhapatnam while supporting thousands of indirect jobs across related sectors. The company’s operations in Ameenpur have already generated approximately 1,500 jobs.
Industry experts note that projects of this nature often create economic benefits beyond direct hiring. Demand for housing, transportation, retail, hospitality, training services and professional support industries typically increases around large technology campuses, generating broader economic activity across the surrounding region.
The proposed hub is also expected to encourage closer collaboration between industry, academia and research institutions. Pulsus plans to work with universities, healthcare organisations, startups and technology companies to create a collaborative environment that supports innovation, research and global service delivery.
According to Dr. Gedela Srinubabu, CEO of Pulsus Group, the long-term vision for the Ameenpur campus has always been centred on technology-led employment generation and innovation. He said the company intends to accelerate development of the facility into one of Telangana’s leading AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation campuses while creating high-quality opportunities for engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers and digital specialists.
The project comes at a time when the convergence of artificial intelligence and healthcare is emerging as one of the fastest-growing areas within the global technology sector. Rising demand for healthcare analytics, clinical research support, bioinformatics, digital health platforms and AI-enabled healthcare services is creating opportunities for specialised talent across the world.
For Telangana, the significance of the project lies not only in the scale of investment or job creation, but also in its potential to anchor a new innovation ecosystem that connects technology, healthcare and research. If executed as planned, the Ameenpur campus could become an important contributor to the state’s next phase of knowledge-economy growth while creating opportunities for thousands of graduates and skilled professionals.
