Ronnie Screwvala, Co-Founder of upGrad, has led a $5 million pre-Series A financing for the education technology providing startup 21K School which has over 2,750 students studying from over 400 cities across India and 23 other countries.
The funding will be used to expand the company’s outreach to students in India and internationally, as well as to improve its learning platform for data-driven training across all curriculums.
Santosh Kumar, Yeshwanth Raj Parasmal, Dinesh Kumar, and Joshi Kumar founded 21K School in 2020 with the goal of creating a 100% online school that offers children aged 3 to 18 years a choice of three curricula: Indian, American, and British.
In the coming academic year,
21K School hopes to grow by a factor of ten to over 25,000 to 30,000 admissions.
