September 10, 2024: AppsForBharat, has successfully raised $18 million (Rs 151 crore) in Series B funding to augment its expansion plans and enhance Sri Mandir’s operational footprint both within India and internationally. Introduce new tech stack as well as temple listings.
The company’s strategic plan include the introduction of new temples in their portfolio, including the expansion of services, and the development of a comprehensive devotional tech stack. Furthermore, broaden the platform’s capabilities to better serve the spiritual needs of millions of devotees across the globe.

AppsForBharat to onboard new temples, introduce new services, and build a comprehensive tech stack in Sri Mandir App
Founded in 2020, AppsForBharat launched Sri Mandir as a flagship app to support users in their spiritual journeys. The platform, managed by Prashant Sachan and Pulkit Pujara, has grown rapidly since its launch in 2021. With over 30 million downloads and more than 5 lakh devotees participating in 27 lakh pujas and offerings, Sri Mandir provides access to over 50 temples and a range of devotional content.

This investment was led by Fundamentum, with notable participation from Susquehanna Asia VC, Elevation Capital, Peak XV, and Mirae Asset VC.
