Desible.ai Secures Rs 32 Cr; byteXL Gets $9M for AI Expansion

October 7, 2026: BENGALURU: Early-stage enterprise momentum in India continues to draw strong investor backing, with two tech-driven startups locking in fresh capital to expand their domain-specific AI platforms across the BFSI and higher education sectors.

Desible.ai, a Bengaluru-headquartered AI startup, announced a Rs 32 crore Seed+ funding round led by Prime Venture Partners, with continued participation from existing backer Invention Engine. The fresh capital will go toward deepening the company’s agentic AI capabilities, bolstering enterprise compliance frameworks, and accelerating product development tailored to financial institutions.

Founded in 2025 by Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar, Desible.ai builds an agentic workflow orchestration platform designed specifically for banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), and insurers. The platform automates multi-channel operational workflows—spanning voice, WhatsApp, SMS, and email—across key functional areas such as collections, lead qualification, renewals, claims intimation, and cross-selling.

Indian AI Startups Desible.ai and byteXL Secure New Growth Capital

Built with a focus on deterministic decision-making, Desible.ai ensures that automated workflows strictly follow predefined enterprise rules for disclosures, customer consent, and escalations, maintaining auditability for heavily regulated environments. The startup currently serves over 40 BFSI institutions, running more than 25 distinct agentic workflows and processing over 1 crore monthly customer engagements integrated directly into existing enterprise systems.

Alongside Desible.ai’s round, edtech platform byteXL secured $9 million in fresh funding led by Elevar Equity, with participation from early investors Kalaari Capital and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. The capital injection comes after the company’s $5.9 million Series A in July 2024.

byteXL, founded by Karun and Sricharan Tadepalli, partners directly with engineering colleges—focusing heavily on tier-2 and tier-3 cities—to integrate industry-aligned tech curriculum and AI training alongside standard academic coursework. Its model combines practical learning modules, student analytics, and on-ground educators within existing college environments.

The team plans to deploy the $9 million to broaden its campus network, scale its AI-enabled learning and assessment engines, and expand personalized student tools. byteXL currently reaches roughly 2 lakh students across 40 institutions and reported 7,600 tech placements last year. Over the next two years, the team aims to expand its footprint to 120 partner colleges and 5 lakh students across 15 states.

Together, the two fundraises reflect a steadying venture climate for specialized B2B and institutional AI platforms in India. For founders and product leaders across the ecosystem, both rounds point to a clear trend: investors are prioritizing startups that tie AI capabilities directly into measurable operational metrics—whether that means running deterministic compliance workflows in banking or delivering career-ready talent outcomes in higher education.
