“We intend to build a robust, vibrant, globally competitive presence in the global semiconductor ecosystem in the next 10 years with the capital that PM Narendra Modi ji has given us. The Future is Bright and the Future is India in the semiconductor ecosystem,” proclaimed the Minister, exuding confidence and optimism for India’s bright future in the industry.
The Minister emphasized India’s successful collaborations with countries like Japan and the US, particularly in the domain of critical emerging technologies, including semiconductors. Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar shed light on the government’s committed support for semiconductor startups and incubation centers, indicating that 7 chip design startups have already received approval for funding and assistance to develop their products.
