January 2, 2025: Klassroom Edutech, a Social Enterprise and Hybrid Tutoring online platform backed by Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, has raised an undisclosed amount in its latest funding round, to fast-track its ambitious subscribers growth, and platform adoption plans.
With its unique hybrid model, the Edutech platform combines over 200 offline learning centres with its dynamic online ecosystem. This approach addresses key challenges within India’s education system, including accessibility, affordability, and accountability.
Klassroom’s OTT platform has rapidly gained popularity, boasting over 50,000 subscribers within its first year. Its reach has expanded to over 500,000 students across more than 600 cities. The platform offers a wide range of educational content, from core academic subjects to career-focused skill development, language learning, and industry-specific training.

The company has also forged an impactful partnership with the Government of Rajasthan. Under this collaboration, Klassroom plans to offer skill development courses to 3 lakh students in 3,000 schools, expanding its influence across the state. This partnership reflects the startup’s commitment to driving educational transformation on a national scale.
Founded by Alka Javeri, Dhruv Javeri, and Dhumil Javeri, Klassroom blends cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technology with traditional learning methods.

The latest round of raising capital led by ah! Ventures, saw additional investments from LetsVenture, Hem Securities, Meteor Ventures, and Growth Sense Fund.
