State Street one of World’s largest asset management companies with over $40 trillion under its custody, is expanding big in Hyderabad by adding 5,000 new jobs. KTR who is on a visit to the US announced this after meeting the company executives in Boston. The company has operations in Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Hyderabad now becomes the second largest presence for State Street after its Boston Headquarters
The Hyderabad centre plans to add new jobs for software engineers and data scientists who will be experts in the areas of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies supporting the fund management for State Street.
The company’s centre of excellence launched its operations in Hyderabad in November 2017.
Since its operations began in Hyderabad, the company grew to 1,000 employees to support management, custodial, and other services for the institution. Today, State Street has beat its expectations and, it will be adding over 5,000 jobs in Hyderabad, said a press release.
