Sychedelic Raises $3.5M for Neurotech Wearable

Wednesday, May 20, 2026: Gurugram and New York-based neurotech startup Sychedelic has secured $3.5 million (around ₹31.5 crore) in seed funding to channel the fresh capital into marketing, scaling up manufacturing, expanding research. It is also preparing for its global Kickstarter launch in May 2026.

Founded by Ria Rustagi and Bhavya, Sychedelic is developing what it calls the world’s first closed-loop neuromodulation wearable in headphone format. The device blends neurostimulation, biometric tracking, and adaptive AI to respond to a user’s mental state in real time. By integrating tDCS, binaural beats, and HRV biofeedback, the wearable aims to deliver personalized neuroadaptive experiences for stress relief, focus, sleep, and overall mental wellness.

Sychedelic Gets CDSCO Approval, Eyes Global Launch

Over 100 early adopters have tested the product in the past six months, providing feedback that helped refine its hardware and adaptive algorithms. The startup has also secured CDSCO approval, granting medical device status in India, and filed global patent applications currently under review.

Operating across India and the US, Sychedelic is positioning itself for international rollout. The funding round highlights investor confidence in consumer neurotech, though adoption challenges and regulatory scrutiny remain key hurdles. With patents pending and a Kickstarter launch on the horizon, Sychedelic is betting on its ability to merge science, technology, and lifestyle into a single wearable.

The round was led by TurboStart, Ideabaaz, and Praveek Ventures, with participation from angel investors across India, the UAE, and the NRI community.
