Viyona Enables NPCI’s eNACHLite In-App Mandates for Banks

HDERABAD, 9 September 2026: Fintech startup Viyona Fintech has announced today that it is ready to deploy its eNACHLite technology following NPCI’s launch of the new mandate platform, which allows customers to complete eNACHLite mandate journeys within the apps they are already using.

NPCI launched eNACHLite at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai. The new platform enables customers to create, modify, pause and cancel eNACH mandates within an app, removing the browser redirect that has been part of the mandate journey.

Viyona, an NPCI-certified Technology Service Provider working on eNACHLite, has developed and tested the system end-to-end, including the customer-facing mandate journey and the technology integration required for participating financial institutions.

eNACH mandates are used for recurring payments including loan EMIs, insurance premiums, systematic investments and other scheduled payments. Under the earlier process, customers could be redirected from an application to a separate web page to complete the mandate process.

Viyona’s eNACHLite Solution Enables Banks and Lenders to Offer In-App Mandate Journeys

With eNACHLite, customers can complete the mandate process within the same application. The journey allows customers to view auto-debit details, authenticate using their card or Aadhaar and complete the process using a one-time password.

The platform also provides information on the reason for a failed mandate attempt, giving customers and support teams additional information about unsuccessful transactions.

For banks, NBFCs and lenders, the new eNACHLite platform changes the way the mandate journey is presented to customers without requiring a separate customer-facing application. Existing eNACH mandates continue without changes.

Sensitive information, including card numbers and Aadhaar details, remains within NPCI’s secure software environment and does not enter the custody of the participating bank. Viyona Fintech will provide the technical implementation, support the NPCI certification process and operate the technology.

The eNACHLite solution is available for deployment by participating banks and lenders.

“Moving customers from an app to a browser has been a weak point in the auto-debit journey for years,” said Ravindranath Yarlagadda, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Viyona Fintech. “eNACHLite addresses that friction at the point where it occurs, within the mandate journey itself. We began building against the eNACHLite specification as soon as it was available and have completed the end-to-end technology and testing required for the new experience.”

Viyona Fintech is an NPCI-certified Technology Service Provider headquartered in Hyderabad. The company holds certifications across UPI Switch (Issuer and Acquirer), IMPS, Banking Connect 2.0 (IBMB), Bharat Connect BOU and COU, and eKYC Setu, and serves banks, NBFCs and fintech companies across India.
