June 19, 2025: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced the winners of its 9th Startup Accelerator Cohort. The announcement includes nine selected startups—six from India and three from Germany, who will now work directly with Maruti’s teams to develop real-world solutions under proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.
Over the last six years, Maruti Suzuki has actively contributed to India’s growing startup ecosystem, having evaluated more than 5,000 startups, collaborated with 150, and formally partnered with 25.
This year’s cohort marks a notable development, bringing in international startups to work alongside Indian entrepreneurs for the first time under this program.
6 Indian, 3 German Startups to Build with Maruti Suzuki
Indian startups:
- Frinks AI – Specializes in cybersecurity solutions powered by artificial intelligence
- mistEO – Works on climate and geospatial intelligence
- Adagrad – Offers quality control solutions using advanced AI
- Com Olho – Focuses on real-time monitoring and digital transparency
- ProSolvr – Develops EV charging and power management systems
- Eligere – Innovates in battery-swapping infrastructure
German startups:
- Caire AI – Develops AI-based health and wellness monitoring
- Syn2Core – Brings in advanced computing solutions
- Talonic – Works on intelligent automation in mobility tech
All nine startups will conduct PoC initiatives with Maruti Suzuki, testing their technologies within operational settings. These efforts are expected to lead to potential long-term partnerships and commercial deployment.
Aligning with National and Global Visions
This initiative is part of Maruti Suzuki’s larger strategy to support India’s innovation roadmap through the Startup India and Make in India missions. The collaboration not only helps Maruti explore disruptive ideas but also allows startups to scale their solutions in the competitive mobility market.
Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, emphasized the importance of such partnerships, stating that working with startups helps the company build “future-ready solutions” that can enhance customer experience and improve efficiency across operations.
Beyond the Accelerator
Maruti’s innovation journey goes beyond just one program. Since the launch of the Accelerator in 2019, the company has introduced complementary initiatives such as:
- Incubation Program (2020) – Early-stage support for tech ventures
- Mobility Challenge (2021) – A problem-solving platform for mobility issues
- Nurture (2023) – Focused on scaling mature startup solutions
These initiatives reflect Maruti’s growing role as a tech enabler in the automotive and mobility sectors.
